FOR US, OUR TRIPS are about more than catching fish, they are about helping people have a great time that will become part of their friends and family memories for ever. And, of course, helping them to extend their on-water experiences with outstanding meals by providing the best of what the Gulf Coast of Florida’s waters have to offer.

ALL CHARTERS ARE PRIVATE which means that only members of your party and our crew will be on the boat during your trip. Coast Guard regulations limit our trips to 6 passengers. We may have up to 2 crew members on the boat who are in addition to the passengers.
Our experience
OUR CAPTAINS are hand-picked, not just because they know how to catch fish, but because they know how to run a successful fishing trip. Their focus is always on our guests and their needs. For a captain, knowing when to stay out of the way is just as important as knowing when and how to help. Our job is just as much about helping you to learn more about catching fish as it to catch fish. Often the learning and the catching happen at the same time.
Together, our captains have over 40 years’ of experience fishing Florida’s and the Caribbean’s offshore waters for gamefish of all varieties. All of that experience means that we have developed a keen appetite for being part of the fun our clients have during their fishing outings that often result in memories that are enjoyed for years to come.
OUR equipment
OUR BOAT, the Niche Too, is a 26-foot Yellowfin built in 2017 and accommodates up to 6 anglers and two crew members. It is powered by twin 200 hp Mercury Verado engines that are powerful and efficient enough for us to minimize the time required to get to our favorite spots. And less time running means more time fishing, although running across the Gulf at 40 mph is a memorable experience in and of itself.
THE GEAR we provide has been selected to match the needs of our anglers and the demands of the environment in which we fish. We will have on board all the tackle, bait, coolers, licenses and equipment needed for a successful trip. If you have a favorite rod, rig or lure you wish to use while with us, please bring it along.
Once we are back at the dock we will fillet, package and ice your catch. We suggest that you eat it fresh.
Our commitment to safety and environment

SAFETY FIRST is the foundation of our fishing philosophy and our approach to safety starts with our attitudes.  We know that only safe trips are good trips so we always “pick our days” to go offshore.  The Gulf is a very large body of water and wind and weather can combine to make it unfishable at times.  So we tend to be conservative when we assess the likelihood of a successful trip right up to the point when we break the inlet and move into the Gulf.  If we feel that the offshore waters will be unfishable, we won’t go fishing and will work hard to reschedule your trip for a better time.

We have invested heavily in safety on the Niche Too.  Along with Coast Guard mandated safety equipment, we carry emergency signal capable radios, a personal locator beacon for emergency satellite communications, a satellite telephone, Sirius XM real-time marine weather service, radar, and a full complement of Simrad navigation and communication equipment.

We are committed to your success

PROTECTING OUR RESOURCES is a responsibility we take seriously.  It is a privilege to target wild fish in the wilderness that is the Gulf of Mexico, and, in order to ensure that privilege extends to future generations, we follow the rules.  We have Gulf of Mexico Offshore Reef and Pelagic permits, of which a limited number exist, along with a Highly Migratory Species (HMS) permit.  These permits are required for us to legally fish more than 9 miles offshore in the Gulf.  Without investing in these permits, we would be unable to take our clients to some of the most productive offshore fishing spots in our part of the Gulf and we would be limited to nearshore or inshore fishing trips.


We have also invested in Florida Charter Boat licenses which allow us to provide our clients with a day of fishing without the need for them to purchase individual fishing licenses.
